Our Story

Welcome to our website -- we are so happy you are here.  Who are we and how did we get here?  It's a strange story, but it's true.  I'm a wife, mom of two young men, who is a pharmacy administrator by day -- and was an empty nester by night.  So, I did what a lot of people do, I scrolled-and-scrolled-and-scrolled on social media.  I must have lingered a little too long on some soap-making videos and voila! My feed was suddenly flooded with them.  And I thought -- hey, I think I could do that (pharmacists love to mash stuff together you know).  

Three weeks after that, I filed papers in my town to make my business official.  And six weeks after that, I launched my online store and sold my first bar of soap.  The rest, as they say, is history.

As a breast-cancer survivor, who also had uterine pre-cancer, I became even more impassioned with 'clean-living'.  While there are certainly commercial products available, reading some of those labels I quickly became disillusioned as I saw the wide chasm between marketing terms and actual product ingredients.

Our goals are simple:  make products as clean as possible, with sustainable ingredients, packaged in an eco-friendly way.  We aren't quite there 100% on all counts yet, but we're pretty close --- and we move closer-and-closer each day.

We are also fiercely passionate about supporting our community, and happy that so many non-profit organizations have embraced our fundraising program.

Our customers are the absolute best around and are our best partners and biggest cheerleaders.  We love hearing from you and use the majority of suggestions we receive (we are pathologically suggestible...LOL).

In addition to our website, you can find us popping up all over the place (see our EVENTS page).  We also partner with a great artisan shop that has locations in Kingston, MA and Medford, MA (4Good Vibes Gift Shop & Boutique) and we are in over 100 retail stores across the country, through our wholesale program.
